18 Million Dollars Transferred to Kocharyan's 26-Year-Old Son's Account, Says Prosecutor General

The Prosecutor General Artur Davtyan stated today during a court session of the Robert Kocharyan and others case at the Court of Appeals that 18 million dollars were transferred to the account of Kocharyan's 26-year-old son at that time.

After the court session, Kocharyan's son, Levon Kocharyan, in response to journalists' inquiries, clarified that the discussion was about his brother, as he was 27 years old in 2007. “It was not about money being transferred, but rather regarding account movements. I am grateful to the Prosecutor General for essentially dispelling those opinions regarding billions of dollars, and now we are speaking about a much lower amount. He mentioned this in relation to the bribery incident, stating there had been movement in his account during those years. There are claims that this woman, Silva Hambardzumyan, made such announcements, and there is this much money here. But there is no connection to those claims, nor is there any similar testimony,” said Levon Kocharyan.
