Military Exercises in Artsakh

In parallel with the military exercises initiated in the RA Armed Forces' air defense troops, today's combat shooting drills have commenced on June 18 with the participation of the air defense units of the Defense Army of the Republic of Artsakh. This information has been provided by the information and public relations department of the RA Ministry of Defense.

The aim of the exercises is to coordinate issues of joint application, improve the effectiveness of unified control systems, radar reconnaissance, and air defense fire management, as well as to enhance the preparedness level of combat crews.

The combat shooting includes modern air defense weapons such as S-300, modernized S-125, “Osa-AK” and “Strela-10” missile systems, “Igla-S” and “Verba” portable air defense systems. The exercises also feature air defense units equipped with the latest domestically-produced radar stations.
