Azerbaijan Concerned: Military Analyst
Military analyst Ashot Asatryan has written on his Facebook page, "Azerbaijan is concerned about Armenian military exercises and statements from the Minister of Defense. The recently launched Armenian exercises in Artsakh have already had a targeted impact on the enemy's political leadership. In particular, a specific concern is noted in the statement released by the Azerbaijani Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which tries to connect the exercises with the upcoming meeting of foreign ministers in Washington.
At the same time, it is announced that the Armenian Minister of Defense is discussing a military exercise involving 10,000 servicemen while also preparing to participate in peace talks aimed at resolving the Artsakh issue. This is being declared by a state that conducts military exercises several times a month, part of which involves cooperation with another state, and within the same month speaks about peace twice as much. Now they are concerned about how the Armenian side will interpret these actions. There is a very simple explanation— we are ensuring our safety on both fronts, so we are not caught off guard either in wartime or during negotiations."
