VIDEO: Protest Action Against President Armen Sarkissian

A symbolic protest action is currently being held under the initiative of the Civil Consciousness initiative and the fact-checking and information dissemination website AntiFake.am. The action is titled “#Anti_Fake_PRESIDENT,” and participants are marching from Baghramyan 1 to Baghramyan 26, the residence of the President of Armenia.

According to the organizers, the purpose of the protest is to draw the attention of the citizens of Armenia to the fact that President Armen Sarkissian is not fulfilling the constitutional duties assigned to the presidency, particularly that he is not ensuring the observance of the Constitution. Therefore, President Armen Sarkissian is seen as incompetent or a fake president.

Participants assure that the protest will proceed with symbolic actions, and a special award will be presented to Armen Sarkissian by AntiFake.am.
