Young Man Wanted for Murder Has Been Found: Details

The police in Yerevan received operational information regarding the hiding place of an individual wanted for a particularly serious crime. Based on the information received, the officers of the respective department undertook various operational and investigative measures in collaboration with officers from the Erebuni, Tumanyan, and other police departments.

Thanks to the diligence and precise actions of the police, on June 14, the young man wanted for murder since June 12 by the Erebuni police was discovered in the rural area of Shamlugh in the Lori province.

It is worth reminding that on June 10, a dispute occurred in Yerevan on Tigran Mets Avenue regarding domestic issues, during which the detained young man stabbed two individuals, aged 63 and 24. The elder one died in the hospital, while the younger one suffered moderate injuries.

As a result of extensive search operations, the police were able to identify the suspect in the murder, after which a wanted notice was issued against him and a detention order was put in place. Investigative measures continue to locate the weapon used in the crime and to clarify all circumstances of the incident.
