Gagik Tsarukyan Summoned for Questioning for the Second Time
Gagik Tsarukyan, the leader of the Prosperous Armenia faction in the National Assembly, has been summoned for questioning for the second time. This was reported to NEWS.am by Naira Harutyunyan, the head of the Investigative Information and Public Relations Department.
She stated that the notification has been sent to the National Assembly. It is noteworthy that the day before the Abovyan mayoral elections, the vehicle of the campaign chief for the Civil Contract's mayoral candidate was set on fire, as well as the door of their residence. A criminal case has been initiated regarding the arson under the article concerning intentional destruction or damage to property. The campaign chief, Vahan Saribekyan, has been recognized as a victim.
In a conversation with journalists, Gagik Tsarukyan commented, "This was a fabricated, contrived case. The Prime Minister must enforce that this case is resolved. It must be clarified, and those responsible should be kept away from Abovyan." It is worth mentioning that Gagik Tsarukyan had torn the notification upon receiving it from the Investigative Committee for the first time.
