MP Hayk Sargsyan Files Lawsuit Against Media Outlet

MP Hayk Sargsyan from the "My Step" faction has filed a lawsuit against "Iravunk Media" LLC. This information was reported to NEWS.am from the judicial information system.

Sargsyan has approached the court demanding compensation for damages caused to his honor, dignity, and reputation through defamation and insult.

In a conversation with NEWS.am, Sargsyan's representative, lawyer Tigran Hayrapetyan, stated that the basis of the lawsuit is an article published by the "Iravunk" newspaper on May 14. The article claimed that "the entire informational package against Davit Sanasaryan reached the NSS through the carelessness of Hayk Sargsyan."

The plaintiff considers the information in the article to be offensive and defamatory and is demanding up to 1 million drams as compensation for non-material damage.
