Fire Breaks Out on Moscow Street
On June 13, at 12:01 PM, the «911» service received a call reporting a fire at the first floor of a building located at 28 Moscow Street, Yerevan. Assistance from rescuers was required.
Four firefighting teams from the Ministry of Emergency Situations, as well as emergency response and operational groups from the National Center for Crisis Management, were dispatched to the scene with a fire complexity designation of «1-BIS». The fire was contained by 12:18 PM and extinguished by 12:30 PM.
The insulation layer of the chimney pipe of the «Chinar» restaurant was completely burned (approximately 30 sq. m.), while the windows on the 8th and 9th floors of the 4th entrance of the residential building were partially damaged (approximately 2 sq. m.). The windows on the 6th and 7th floors were thermally damaged (approximately 2 sq. m.).
