«Zhoghovurd». BHK Did Not Attend Crucial Discussions Lasting Two Days

«Zhoghovurd» newspaper writes: On March 6 of this year, the President of the National Assembly, Ararat Mirzoyan, invited political forces to discussions on electoral reforms. Three months have passed since that announcement, yet during this time, an official working group has not even been formed to address the amendments to the Electoral Code.

According to information from «Zhoghovurd», discussions on electoral code reforms took place over the weekend, organized by the International Institute for Electoral Systems. However, we learned that only representatives of the ruling party and Karen Simonian from the 'Enlightened Armenia' faction attended the two-day discussions. No representative from BHK was present at the meeting; perhaps they were occupied with the mayoral elections taking place in Abovyan.
