Investors are Hesitant: They Do Not Want to Risk Their Capital and Assets in Russia

Recently, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan met with Armenian businessmen in St. Petersburg, urging them to come to Armenia, make investments, become wealthy, and enrich the state. Some Russian businessmen would not be opposed to investing in Armenia; however, they need to be assured that this will not affect their standing with the Russian authorities.

In simpler terms, Armenian businessmen in Russia are aware of the tense relations between the governments of Russia and Armenia. Under these circumstances, none of them is willing to invest in Armenia if it risks their capital and assets in Russia.
