Children of Officials in the State Revenue Committee Rapidly Rise Through the Ranks
According to the newspaper "Zhamanak," children of officials in the State Revenue Committee are experiencing a rapid rise in their careers. Back in February of this year, we reported that a competition was held for two positions of senior operational officer in the Operations and Intelligence Department of the State Revenue Committee (SRC). The contest was won by Narek Zakaryan, the son of Tigran Zakaryan, head of the SRC's small taxpayers' tax inspectorate, who had previously been employed in a lower-level position within the SRC.
In our publication, we predicted that within a few months, Narek Zakaryan would transition from senior operational officer to becoming a deputy head of a department or even head of a department. Indeed, on June 3, Narek Zakaryan was appointed as the deputy head of the Passenger Customs Control Division at the Western Customs Office of the SRC. This means that it took only four months for the son of a SRC official to rise from operational officer to deputy head, whereas it would typically take years for an ordinary employee to achieve such a position.
It is worth noting that all relatives of Tigran Zakaryan are employed at the SRC thanks to his influence.
