Burglary at the Home of Yerevan City Council Member

The Investigation Committee of Armenia is preparing materials regarding a residential burglary that occurred in Yerevan on June 11. According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, a resident of one of the houses on 5th Street in the Silikian neighborhood, 26-year-old Askhanaz Abrahamyan, reported to the Mashtots police department around noon.

Abrahamyan stated that between 1:30 PM and 3:00 PM on the same day, an unknown person or persons had opened the door to his house with a tampered key and conducted a theft, taking a wristwatch, a silver ring, and money.

As reported by SHAMSHYAN.com, A. Abrahamyan informed law enforcement that he is a member of the Yerevan City Council.
