Accident on Sisian-Yerevan Road: Injuries Reported
On June 8th, at 15:33, the Armenian Emergency Situations Ministry received a call through the "911" service reporting an accident on the M-2 highway, in the Sarnakunk-Tzghuk segment, requiring the assistance of rescuers.
A firefighting and rescue team from the Emergency Situations Ministry was dispatched to the scene. It was determined that two vehicles, a "VAZ-21010" (driver: K.D., born in 1957) and an "Opel Omega" (driver: S.H., born in 1982), collided at the 30th km of the Sisian-Yerevan section of the M-2 highway.
Before the arrival of the rescuers, the passengers of the "VAZ-21010" vehicle (S.D., born in 1959, and P.A., born in 1926) were taken to the Sisian Medical Center, where doctors assessed S.D.'s health condition as moderately severe and P.A.'s as stable.
The rescuers disconnected the vehicles' power supply and closed the gas cylinder valves.
