Fatal Hit and Run Incident Occurs in Yerevan

A fatal hit and run incident occurred in Yerevan yesterday. Around 9:20 PM, 22-year-old Tigran Hovhannisyan, a resident of Yerevan, struck a pedestrian with his Mercedes vehicle, license plate number 35 GD 586, on Sarkavaghi Street.

According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, the driver did not flee the scene and called the Yerevan 1-03 emergency center, assisting the paramedics who arrived at the scene. The victim, a woman aged between 45 and 50 years, was transported to the hospital.

The police and investigative department are working to determine the identity of the deceased.
