Bride, Groom, and Maid of Honor Hospitalized after Major Accident in Kotayk Province

Today, on June 3, a major traffic accident occurred in Kotayk Province. At around 14:30, vehicles identified as a Mitsubishi Pajero IO with license plate 36 AO 833 and a ZIL 130 with license plate 10 ОТ 446 collided on the 28 km stretch of the Yerevan-Sevan highway.

According to Shamshyan.com, as a result of the accident, the driver of the Mitsubishi and two passengers were pulled from the vehicle with the assistance of nearby citizens and transported to the Armenia Medical Center in personal vehicles.

It was noted that the ZIL, which was loaded with sand, overturned in the collision, resulting in sand spilling partially across the roadway. Investigative materials are being prepared regarding the incident. The police are working to ascertain the identities of the drivers and the injured.

Witnesses at the scene stated that the injured - the bride, groom, and maid of honor - were heading to Sevan for a wedding ceremony.
