Man Commits Indecent Acts Against His Minor Children in Abovyan

As a result of investigative actions conducted by the Kotayk regional investigative department of the RA Investigative Committee, the circumstances of a case involving indecent acts against minors have been clarified, along with the identity of the individual suspected of committing the crime. The suspect has been arrested.

According to preliminary data, in May 2019, a resident of the city of Abovyan, born in 1976, regularly committed indecent acts against his minor children at his residence located in Abovyan.

Additionally, the 43-year-old man allegedly lured another minor with ice cream and committed indecent acts against them in the area of a dilapidated building in Abovyan.

A criminal case was initiated on June 3, 2019, at the Kotayk regional investigative department of the RA Investigative Committee under Article 142, Part 3, Points 1 and 2 of the RA Criminal Code.

Medical, psychological, and psychiatric examinations have been ordered. The 43-year-old resident of Abovyan has been arrested. The investigation is ongoing.
