Stabbing Incident in Aparan: 2 People Hospitalized
The investigative division of the Aparan police department is preparing materials regarding the stabbings that occurred yesterday, June 2, in the Aragatsotn region.
According to Shamshyan.com, at around 22:50, the Aparan medical center contacted the Aparan police division, reporting that 2 citizens with stab wounds had been admitted. An operational group from the Aparan police department, led by Chief Ashot Hayrapetyan, was dispatched to the hospital.
Police have identified the injured as 36-year-old Argam Kocharyan and 34-year-old Seryozha Kamalyan, both residents of Aparan. Hospital doctors informed the police that the condition of the victims was serious, prompting the Investigation Committee of Armenia's Aragatsotn regional investigative department to take over the case. A team of investigators, led by investigator Stepanyan, arrived at the hospital and, in conjunction with the police, determined that the individuals had been stabbed in front of a car wash located at 24 Garegin Nzhdeh Street in Aparan.
Police and the investigative division are conducting necessary operational and investigative joint actions to clarify the circumstances of the incident and to identify and apprehend the individual or individuals involved in the crime.
