Mitsubishi Pajero Crashes into Rocks and Flips Over

On June 3rd, a major car accident occurred in the Kotayk region. At approximately 11:45 AM, the driver of a Mitsubishi Pajero with license plate 16 SL 730 lost control while navigating the bends in the Arzni Gorge. The vehicle veered off the roadway and collided with basalt rocks in the second turn, flipping over and landing in the middle of the third turn.

According to shamshyan.com, bystanders helped the driver out of the car, and he was subsequently transported to the 'Abovyan' medical center.

Officers from the 1st platoon of the 3rd battalion of the traffic police, led by platoon commander Artur Petrosyan and squad commander Tigran Kotanjyan, arrived at the scene.

David Grigoryan, the duty officer at the 1-77 operational management center of the traffic police, informed the Abovyan precinct and the Byureghavan precinct, dispatching operational teams to the scene.

The investigation is being led by Senior Investigator Avetik Avetisyan from the 3rd platoon of the 2nd battalion of the traffic police, who is preparing materials regarding the incident.

Emergency responders from the Ministry of Emergency Situations' special rescue team quickly arrived and de-energized the vehicle, secured the gas cylinder, stopped the fuel leak, righted the car, and cordoned off the area.

The police are working to ascertain the driver's identity.
