Body of 18-Year-Old Retrieved from Artificial Lake in Armavir Province

A tragic incident occurred in Armavir Province today, June 3. Around 12:20 PM, the Emergency Situations Ministry's rescue service received a call indicating that a citizen had drowned in a lake near the village of Vanand, and assistance was required to locate and retrieve the body.

According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, due to the need for a diver, the 17th rescue squad of the Emergency Situations Ministry was dispatched along with a diver. Hours later, the diver retrieved the body of 18-year-old Mkrtich Petrosyan from the lake.

According to G. Shamshyan's information, the artificial lake in question belongs to the company “Volnak” LLC.
