Fire on Nikoghayos Tigranyan Street: 2 Children Hospitalized

On May 31, at 13:58, the emergency service received a call indicating that there was a short circuit in the electrical wiring resulting in a fire in one of the apartments at number 19 on Nikoghayos Tigranyan Street in Yerevan.

Two fire rescue units from the Ministry of Emergency Situations were dispatched to the scene.

The residents of one of the apartments, E. and M. N. (born in 2017 and 2016), were hospitalized at the Muratsan Hospital Complex. Doctors assessed the health condition of the injured children as satisfactory.

The fire was contained by 14:24 and extinguished by 14:40.

A bed was burned in the apartment, and the living room suffered thermal damage of about 15 square meters.
