Car overturns near Yerablur
Today, on May 31, a significant traffic accident occurred in Yerevan. Around 5:15 PM, a 28-year-old resident of Nor Kharberd, identified as A. M., lost control of his Nissan Teana with license plate 13 VR 113 on Sebastia Street, in front of the Yerablur military pantheon. The vehicle veered off the roadway, collided with basalt curbs, and ended up overturned in a pedestrian area.

Preliminary reports indicate that there were no fatalities or injuries as a result of the accident. Rescuers have disabled the vehicle and, with the help of citizens, managed to right it.
According to sources, at the scene of the incident, the driver told police that the cause of the accident was a UAZ vehicle with police plates that had created an emergency situation, leading to the crash. He also claimed that the UAZ had made contact with his car and then fled the scene. The police are investigating whether the driver’s statements are accurate.
