Soldiers Will Receive Higher Salaries Starting July 1

The salaries of military personnel will increase starting June 1, announced Defense Minister David Tonoyan during today’s government meeting.

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan reminded that salaries will rise in July. David Tonoyan corrected him, saying, “They will receive the increased salaries from June in July.”

“Yes, that is to say that the increase begins on June 1, not tomorrow or the day after. And on July 1, they will receive the raised salaries from June 1. Everything necessary is done in the government, the system is set up. There will be no misunderstandings or disruptions, and everything will proceed in military order,” said the Prime Minister.
