Assange Transferred to Hospital Ward in London Prison

The health condition of Julian Assange, founder of the WikiLeaks organization, has deteriorated during his incarceration at London’s Belmarsh prison. As reported by WikiLeaks on Twitter on May 29, Assange has been moved to the hospital ward of the penal facility, according to Armenpress.

“Over the past seven weeks in Belmarsh prison, his health has continued to decline, and he has experienced significant weight loss. The decision to transfer him to the hospital ward speaks for itself,” the statement said. WikiLeaks added that they are “seriously concerned” about Assange’s well-being.
