Artsakh Ministry of Defense's Response to Reports of Azerbaijani Soldier's Death

On May 30, the press service of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense issued information claiming that Azerbaijani soldier Agil Akif oglu Omarov was killed by sniper fire from the Armenian side in the Akna region. This information has been deemed false. The Artsakh Ministry of Defense has released a statement regarding this claim.

"The Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Artsakh announces that the frontline units of the Defense Army continue to strictly adhere to the ceasefire regime along the entire contact line and simultaneously urge the Azerbaijani side to refrain from provocative disinformation aimed at artificially escalating the situation," the statement said.
