Russia Calls Arrest of Russian Citizen in Kosovo a 'Loud' Operation
Moscow considers the arrest of a Russian citizen in Kosovo a "loud" operation and demands a comprehensive response from the UN mission in Kosovo regarding the detention. This was reported by the Russian Foreign Ministry, as conveyed by РИА Новости.
This morning, Kosovo police conducted a special operation in the north of the country, where the majority of the population is Serbian. A total of 30 individuals were arrested, including Mikhail Krasnoschyokov, a Russian citizen working for the UN mission in Kosovo.
It is worth noting that Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić has ordered the country's armed forces and special police units to be put on full combat alert.
The current situation is linked to an incident in Kosovo, where preliminary reports indicate that 13 Serbs were arrested in the northern part of the self-proclaimed republic on Tuesday morning.
Special units of Kosovo's Ministry of Internal Affairs have invaded the territory of four Serbian communities in the north, resulting in the arrests of Serbian officers in the Kosovo police and civilians.
