Fire on the 9th Floor of a Building on Sayat Nova Street: Three Fire Units Arrive at the Scene

A recent emergency incident occurred in Yerevan. Around 13:10, the Operational Management Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations received a call reporting smoke coming from an apartment on the 9th floor of building 27 on Sayat Nova Street, raising suspicions of a possible fire.

According to Shamshyan.com, the Fire and Rescue Team No. 8 arrived at the scene with two fire units, along with Rescue Team No. 1, which brought one fire unit.

At this moment, rescuers and civilians are engaged in efforts to combat the spread of the fire. The emergency medical team from Yerevan’s 1-03 ambulance service as well as community police officers from the central police department have also arrived at the scene. Police are working to identify the apartment owner and determine if there are any victims resulting from the fire.
