Welcome to the Artsakh Region Sign Removed

On May 25, the 'Sasna Tsrer' group traveled to Artsakh by car and is expected to return on May 28, late in the evening. A video published on the party's Facebook page shows that they affixed a sign reading 'Welcome to the Artsakh Region' over the 'Republic of Artsakh Welcome to Artsakh' sign on the way to Artsakh from Vardenis.

The spokesperson for 'Sasna Tsrer', Herminee Mkrtchyan, told ArmDaily.am that they placed the sign and continued their journey. 'We are currently in Martuni, I am not aware whether it has been removed or not.'

The media outlet learned from an eyewitness that the sign was later removed.
