‘I Will Tear Off Everyone’s Masks’: Jivan Abrahamyan Released from Custody
No condemnable or wrong actions were committed by me according to the law. Today, Jivan Abrahamyan stated this during a live broadcast on Facebook, shortly after being released from the police.
“According to the law, I have done nothing condemnable or wrong; my words are clearly stated on Facebook. If you lack the ability to comment and understand Armenian, then I am sorry. What did Jivan do? Jivan warned that if you violate the Constitution and laws of my country, then the response will be very obvious, and Jivan Abrahamyan repeats his words once again,” he said.
Jivan Abrahamyan also announced that he will hold a press conference, answer everyone’s questions, and tear off everyone’s masks.
It should be noted that yesterday, on May 25, Jivan Abrahamyan, one of the organizers of a rally supporting Nikol Pashinyan, made violent threats at Freedom Square, stating that he would “smash the head of Artsakh’s President Bako Sahakyan with a stone” if former President Robert Kocharyan is accepted in Artsakh.
Today, Jivan Abrahamyan was taken to the Central Police Department on suspicion of making threats at Freedom Square.
