Attraction Malfunctions in the USA, Injuries Include 10-Year-Old Child

Three people have been injured due to the malfunction of the "Water Bluffs" attraction at an amusement park in Riverside, California. Among the injured is an elderly man who is in critical condition at the hospital. Another injured party is a 10-year-old child.

The malfunction occurred at the end of the water slide descent where no brakes were applied, causing visitors to be ejected from the capsule.

Preliminary data suggests that a non-working water pump, which was supposed to provide smooth braking, could have contributed to the incident.
