Ruben Hayrapetyan's bodyguard involved in fatal hit-and-run in Artsakh; second victim was a doctor
As previously reported, a tragic car accident occurred in Artsakh on May 23, resulting in the deaths of two individuals.
ArmDaily.am has learned that one of the victims, Erik Avagyan, was from Artsakh and worked as an emergency medical doctor at a blood transfusion center. Those who knew Erik highlight that he was a skilled professional, a devoted friend, a joker, and an extremely kind person. Erik Avagyan was 29 years old and was unmarried.
According to the Artsakh Republic Police, on May 23, around 2:45 PM, a resident of Yerevan, born in 1992, identified as H. N., driving a "LEXUS LX 470", struck resident G. S., born in 1986, at the 12th kilometer of the Askeran-Stepanakert highway, and subsequently rolled over the vehicle. As a result, G. S. died on the spot, while driver H. N. and passengers, including H. A., born in 1975, S. S., born in 1975, and E. A., born in 1990, from Martuni, were taken to the Republican Medical Center with various injuries. Unfortunately, E. A. passed away that same day at 4:10 PM.
According to information from "First News", the individual responsible for the fatal hit-and-run, H. N., born in 1992, is a member of Ruben Hayrapetyan's security detail.
