Fact: Unclear Situation at Public Television Company, Management Fails to Communicate
The newspaper "Fact" reports that an unusual and tense situation has developed at Armenia's Public Television Company. Specifically, the executive director Margarita Grigoryan is fundamentally refusing to come under the authority of the Council of the Public Television and Radio Company.
According to sources within the company, Grigoryan reportedly does not communicate with either the Council's president Ara Shirinyan or his advisor Tigran Paskevichyan.
Grigoryan asserts that, to put it mildly, she has no issues with Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan or the Prime Minister's wife, Anna Hakobyan, and thus reserves the right to make independent decisions, despite the fact that, according to legislation, the governing body of the public television company is indeed the Council of the Public Television and Radio Company.
