Turkey Tortures Its Own Citizens, Reports ermenihaber

The Trade Union of Transport Workers of Great Britain (TSSA) has raised alarms about ongoing acts of violence and torture taking place in Turkey. This was reported by ermenihaber.am.

Union representative Jason Torvey has called on the international community via social media to exert pressure on Turkey to stop the persistent torture.

He shared a video online showing the arrest of individuals in Turkey's Halefeti region, during which violence is inflicted upon them, including the elderly and children.

'The practice of torture in Turkey must end immediately. Turkish law enforcement is torturing 13-year-old children. I appeal to the international community: suspend your relations with Turkey and force that country to stop inflicting violence on its citizens,' Torvey wrote.
