Hrachya Hakobyan Withdraws Candidacy for CPP Executive Board Membership
The newspaper "Zhoghovurd" reports that Hrachya Hakobyan, a member of the National Assembly from the "My Step" faction and the brother-in-law of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, has withdrawn his candidacy for the Central Committee of the Civil Contract party and submitted a self-exclusion.
It should be noted that today the campaign for the candidates for the party's executive board will begin in the evening, in which, apparently, Hakobyan will not participate.
In a conversation with us yesterday, Hakobyan explained his self-exclusion as follows: "As a member of the executive board, to engage in party activities, to be honest, I do not have the time, which is why I made my decision. There has been no other reason for my decision. Trust me, there is a lot of work in parliament, and it is on a daily basis, so I need to focus on that work."
