Video: Children of Sis Village Say 'Nikol Came, Promised, Made a Show and Left, Why Aren't We Fixing This Road?' - Nikol Pashinyan
During today’s government meeting, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan drew the attention of the members of the cabinet to the complaints of children from Sis village regarding their road, a video of which has gone viral.
"The children of Sis village are giving interviews, saying, 'Nikol came, promised, made a show and left.' What happened to that road, why aren't we fixing it? The children are complaining, this is unacceptable," said Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure Suren Papikyan responded, stating that taking into account the concerns raised by the children, they will proceed with the asphalt. "The project has already been sent; we might just need to purchase it from one person to expedite the process," he mentioned.
Vice Prime Minister Tigran Avinyan also responded to the question, noting that from now on, all children in Armenia will know the right way to raise issues. The Prime Minister humorously added, "I agree with Mr. Avinyan, but maybe it’s not always necessary to be subjected to the pressure of children and to do things through normal procedures."
