Khachatryan Sisters Refuse Inheritance from Slain Father
The Khachatryan sisters, accused of the murder of their father Mikhail Khachatryan, have refused to accept their father's inheritance. This was reported by the TV channel "360," referencing the younger sister's lawyer, Yaroslav Pakulin.
The high-profile murder of Mikhail Khachatryan occurred in Moscow on July 27, 2018. The 57-year-old man's body was discovered at the entrance of his Moscow apartment, with multiple stab wounds to his neck and chest. The three daughters confessed that they had killed their father.
"All the sisters have refused to accept the inheritance. They have no claims to either the apartment or any material goods or financial resources," said Pakulin.
According to the lawyer, the sisters' renunciation of their father's inheritance indicates that the murder was committed for non-material reasons.
