VIDEO: Armed Attack at a Church in Brazil Leaves Casualties

An armed man opened fire on individuals present in a church located in the Paracatu region of Brazil.

According to local media reports, prior to entering the church, the man had killed his former fiancée at his home.

The shooter has been identified as 39-year-old Rudson Aragon Guimaraes, a former military member. He was injured during an exchange of gunfire with the police and was subsequently taken to the hospital. As a result of Guimaraes' actions, four people have died, including his former fiancée.

Police representative Flavio Santiago reported that at the time of the attack, there were 20 people present in the church, and the shooter was armed with six weapons.

“If the police had not arrived on time, the situation could have ended much worse,” Santiago stated.
