How Is Kocharian? MP Asks Bako Sahakyan
The newspaper "Hraparak" reports that the closed meeting between Bako Sahakyan and the representatives of the "My Step" faction was quite constructive, with the exception of one episode. After greeting the President of Artsakh, Kristine Poghosyan, a supporter of Prime Minister Pashinyan, asked him how Kocharian was doing. Bako Sahakyan, whose calm demeanor is enviable, replied sharply, saying that if they were so concerned about Kocharian's well-being, they could contact his office and demanded to maintain an atmosphere of mutual respect.
Questions were raised about the developments surrounding Artsakh, as well as the statements made by former and current officials of Artsakh. There were inquiries about Vitaly Balasanyan's behavior. Bako Sahakyan noted that it could have been more courteous, but it was "character-related, we are not all alike." He stated that if a problem arises, they should not communicate via Facebook, and he is ready to meet in any format to avoid unpleasant tensions.
When asked about the guarantees for changing Kocharian's detention, he responded that it was conditioned not only by his friendly relations with Kocharian but also by a desire to ease the atmosphere and prevent clashes between the citizens gathered for and against him near the court. He sharply denied inquiries about whether troops had been brought from Artsakh to Armenia on March 1.
