Arsenal Players Applaud Mkhitaryan's Decision Not to Travel

London's Arsenal players greeted the decision of Armenia national team midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan not to travel to the UEFA Europa League final with applause. Before training, Mkhitaryan informed his teammates that he would not be going to Baku.

It is worth recalling that in the final, which will take place on May 29 in the capital of Azerbaijan, Arsenal will face London rivals Chelsea.

The Armenian midfielder has previously missed two away European matches against Azerbaijani clubs.

In 2017, Henrikh Mkhitaryan became a UEFA Europa League champion with Manchester United.
