Alina Kabaeva Gives Birth to Twins

Olympic gold medalist 36-year-old Alina Kabaeva has given birth to twins via cesarean section at one of Moscow's upscale maternity hospitals. According to DailyMail, although the relationship between Alina Kabaeva and Vladimir Putin is a taboo topic for Russian media, various discussions suggest that the Russian president is in a romantic connection with the former athlete.

The report also notes that prior to the delivery, the entire 4th floor of the maternity hospital was cleared for Kabaeva in early May.

An anonymous source also mentioned that the cesarean section was performed by an Italian doctor with assistance from academician Gennady Sukhi.
