40-Year-Old Driver Dies in Hospital After Major Car Accident

According to information from SHAMSHYAN.com, a 40-year-old resident of Syunik Province, Arthur Mkrtchyan, died in the hospital yesterday, May 21.

As reported by photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, on May 16, around 06:10, vehicles driven by 37-year-old Karen Movsisyan from Kapan, in a BMW with license plate 36 CF 426, and Mkrtchyan in a Mitsubishi Grandis with license plate 91 FQ 911 collided on the Yerevan-Meghri highway at the 327th kilometer.

The media outlet reports that both drivers were transported to the Kapan Medical Center due to injuries sustained in the accident.
