Cars Collide on Mashtots Avenue; Two People Hospitalized

On May 21 at 02:40, the Emergency Service received a call reporting a traffic accident near 45 Mashtots Avenue in Yerevan, with injuries reported and assistance from rescue services required.

A firefighting and rescue team was dispatched to the scene from the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

It was determined that a Mercedes E-class vehicle collided with a parked BMW 750, which in turn hit a parked Kia Cerato (the identities of the drivers have yet to be established).

Before the rescuers arrived at the scene, passengers S.G. (born 1986) and G.A. (born 1999) from the Mercedes E were hospitalized at Heratsi Hospital Complex. Doctors assessed S.G.'s condition as moderately severe and G.A.'s as stable.

Rescuers secured the gas cylinder valve of the Mercedes E vehicle.
