Body of 30-Year-Old Citizen Discovered in Argichi River

The emergency hotline received a report on May 20 at 18:24 that a body had been found in the Argichi River in the Gegharkunik region, and that rescue services were needed to retrieve it from the water.

According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, a firefighting and rescue team was dispatched to the scene.

Rescuers retrieved the body of H. M. (born in 1989) from the Argichi River and lifted it approximately 60 meters from the gorge, handing it over to the police department of Martuni.

The Ministry did not provide additional details.
