BHK Still Considering Participation

According to the newspaper 'Zhoghovurd', 'As is known, the 'Bright Armenia' faction of the National Assembly has initiated a signature collection for calling an extraordinary session to obtain clarifications from Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan regarding the current situation in the country.

It is clear that the number of members in the LHK faction is not sufficient, and BHK members also need to join. However, 'Zhoghovurd' has learned that the BHK has not yet discussed this issue and has not decided whether to join the signature collection or not. They have until tomorrow at 12:00 to make a final decision regarding holding or not holding the session.

However, it is already clear that the ruling 'My Step' faction will not join the opposition 'Bright Armenia' on the initiative to sign for an extraordinary session. Furthermore, the faction leader Lilit Makunts stated that discussions will definitely take place on this topic, but they do not agree with the formulations of their opposition colleagues, and this is also a reason for not joining.

Sources of 'Zhoghovurd' do not rule out that even if BHK joins, and an extraordinary session is convened, it may not take place due to a lack of quorum.
