Patient Jumps from Second Floor of Artashat Medical Center

According to SHAMSHYAN.com, a suicide occurred in the Ararat region yesterday, May 19. Around 21:00, Aram Avetisyan, a resident of the Ararat region, jumped from the window of room 16 in the surgical department located on the second floor of the Artashat Medical Center in an attempt to take his own life. As reported by photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, Avetisyan died in the hospital hours later.

Law enforcement officials from the Artashat division of the police, led by division head Ruben Nersisyan, arrived at the scene. Investigative materials are being prepared in connection with the incident at the Artashat police investigation unit.
