Two Earthquakes Recorded with Magnitude of 3 and Above in Armenia and Artsakh
From May 8 to 14, the Seismic Protection Territorial Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported that two earthquakes with a magnitude of 3 and above were recorded in the territories of Armenia and Artsakh.

On May 10, an earthquake of magnitude 3-4 occurred 5 km northwest of the city of Dastakert in Armenia. On May 12, another earthquake of magnitude 2-3 was recorded 16 km southeast of the city of Karvachar in Artsakh.
Meanwhile, the region experienced a total of seven earthquakes with a magnitude of 3 and above. On May 8, a 4-5 magnitude earthquake hit 37 km northeast of Van city in Turkey, and a 4 magnitude quake was felt 15 km northeast of Tabriz in Iran.
On May 10, a 3 magnitude earthquake was registered 29 km northwest of Van city in Turkey.
On May 11, a 4 magnitude earthquake struck 24 km south of the city of Horasan in Turkey and 3 magnitude was recorded 21 km south, while in Iran a 3-4 magnitude earthquake occurred 17 km west of Ahar city.
On May 14, a 4 magnitude earthquake was reported 29 km southeast of Khoy city in Iran. Outside the region, three earthquakes of magnitude 6.0 and above were recorded.
On May 9, a strong earthquake with a magnitude of 6.1 occurred off the southern coast of Japan's Kyushu island, 21 km east of the city of Miyazaki.
On May 12, an earthquake with a magnitude of 6.1 was recorded in the border region between Panama and Costa Rica, occurring 48 km northwest of the city of David in Panama's Chiriqui province, which resulted in injuries to five people.
On May 14, a 7.5 magnitude earthquake hit 47 km northeast of the city of Kokopo in Papua New Guinea.
