Major Car Accident in Kotayk Province: Taxi Rolls into Ravine, Injured are Citizens of Russia

Today, on May 16, a major car accident occurred in Kotayk Province. Around 9:00 AM, 66-year-old Samvel Simonyan, a resident of Vanadzor, lost control of his Opel vehicle with license plate 35 RZ 385 on the Garni-Goght road, leading it to leave the road and roll into a ravine.

According to photojournalist Garik Shamshyan, as a result of the accident, driver S. Simonyan and passengers—both citizens of the Russian Federation, 57-year-old Tatyana Gardova and 67-year-old Tatyana Nurovsnaya—were injured and transported to the Garni outpatient center. The photojournalist notes that the vehicle was being used as a taxi.
