Excavator Hits Worker During Turn in Lori Province, Resulting in Fatality

On May 15, at 14:15, a report was received by the Tumanyan division of the police indicating that a 1967-born man, Lernik Ramazyan, had fallen at work and died.

During the preparation of materials, it was revealed that on May 15, around 13:25, in the area of the company's tailings dam, where restoration of the pipeline, road leveling, and widening works are being carried out, the rear part of an excavator hit L. Ramazyan during a turn, causing injuries that led to his death.

An investigation has been initiated to ascertain the circumstances. An inquiry is ongoing.
