Dispute and Brawl Involving Kotayk Governor's Brother
SHAMSHYAN.com reports that on May 16, a dispute and brawl occurred in the Kotayk region. At approximately 1:00 PM, the Kotayk police department received a call about a conflict near the Nor Hachn bridge involving Rubén Petrosyan, a 29-year-old resident of Abovyan city, and Gevorg Hovhannisyan, a 40-year-old resident of Geghamej village in Kotayk.
According to photoreporter Gagik Shamshyan, during the altercation, Rubén Petrosyan struck Gevorg Hovhannisyan several times, resulting in bodily injuries believed to be mainly bruises. Reports indicate that Gevorg Hovhannisyan works as a manager at the 'Legal Boundary' LLC, while Rubén Petrosyan is the brother of Kotayk governor Romanos Petrosyan. Following the incident, investigators provided both Gevorg Hovhannisyan and Rubén Petrosyan with a referral to a forensic medical examination.
