Yellow Jackets Begin Protests Again in Paris

A new march and protest by participants of the "Yellow Jackets" movement is underway in Paris. According to the TASS agency, protesters are singing the French national anthem, "La Marseillaise," and carrying flags of the republic and various regions.

This time, the reason for the protesters' demonstration is not social demands but opposition to the educational reforms being enacted by the authorities.

Protesters have been banned from appearing in the Champs-Élysées and adjacent streets. Access to the area around the National Assembly and the Cathedral of Notre-Dame has also been closed off to them.
