Two Corpses and a Malnourished Two-Year-Old Girl Found in Kyiv Apartment
Today, two human corpses and a malnourished two-year-old girl were discovered in a multi-story building on Tichina Street in the Dniprovskiy district of Kyiv, as reported by UNIAN.
According to neighbors of the deceased, they sensed a foul odor in the stairwell on the 9th floor and called the police and emergency responders. The bodies were found on the 7th floor. Law enforcement opened the door and discovered the bodies of a man and a woman. There was also a two-year-old girl, who was transported by ambulance. Previously, searches for the girl and her parents were conducted on social media. Neighbors have stated that the family was in need and had a history of substance abuse. On May 2, noises were heard coming from the apartment, after which the family disappeared.
It is noted that the police had been called back when the family initially went missing. However, no one opened the door, and law enforcement deemed there was no basis for entry at that time. Police, emergency responders, and medical personnel are currently stationed at the scene. Investigations into the circumstances of the incident are ongoing.
